Christ Episcopal ChurchThe Bayfield (mostly) Schubert Festival 2008 will again be held on Thursday evenings in the historic 1870 Christ Episcopal Church, 125 North Third Street, Bayfield, Wisconsin.

This year, marks the eleventh Anniversary of the Festival, which began in 1997 to celebrate the bicentennial of the birth of Franz Schubert. It will again feature chamber music of the Classical and Romantic periods. The performers are residents of Bayfield and the nearby areas. The setting is the historic 1870 "Carpenter Gothic" Christ Episcopal Church. Works by Schubert, Schumann, Dvorak, Mendelssohn and other well known composers will be offered.

The "Bayfield (mostly) Schubert 2008 Festival" is made possible by your generous support. Your continuing financial assistance to support these concerts is appreciated. We do not receive any funding from the Apostle Island Community Fund or the CBAC - and many of our local foundations have become unavailable. So, if you attend the concerts please consider a free-will offering to help support the programs. Please see the letter from Fr. Michno  in Adobe Acrobat format.

The concerts are free and the one and one-quarter hour program is followed by a reception and refreshments on the lawn.
